“When booking, the person was friendly kind and asked about dietary requirements. We arrived to the large car park, took the wrong door to the pizza area however everyone was so lovely. We had a table reserved in the dining area, it was a mix of stylish and authentic. The bar staff and waiting staff were a credit. Then...the food. Outstanding! Cooked exactly as requested. The right quantities of all ingredients. Attentive and such friendly staff. From start to finish a delight! We will definitely be back!”

“A wonderful place! Fortunately, the pub has retained the charm of years gone by. The landlord seems a little grumpy at first, but he is a wonderful, warm man.

We were lucky enough to be there on Saturday evening. Live music that couldn't be more authentic. Not a tourist trap, but music for fun and joie de vivre. Everyone is invited to play or sing along.
A very good example that the people make the pub. Rarely have we been so warmly welcomed and included.
