Ooh my goodness the service and the meal we had was outstanding. They were able to fit us in an hour before our scheduled booking. Highly recommend the pork belly bites they just melt in your mouth. Will definetly visit again without a second thought.

East Essence Chinese Restaurant

Great unexpected experience… we’d sail din not knowing If there would be anywhere open… this place was fantastic.. staff made all the difference for not outstanding but well worth the money…. I’d highly recommend it!

The Village Plaice

Loving the new additions to this place. Tried their new online ordering option and it was brilliant. Placed and paid for my order, arrived at the requested collection time and everything was ready. Literally took me a few minutes. Really convenient and a great addition to the store. Btw, the food was really good, very fresh and excellent quality. Definitely going back and definitely recommend.

Kaz kebabs

Loved the chips from here!! Properly cooked, not just dipped in oil.
Chicken tikka was really tasty.
Not keen on the sausages -but let’s face it who goes to a kebab joint for sausages

The chip box

Traditional chippie. Great quality chips. Prepared well with good ingredients. Stopped off on a long drive for fuel and grabbed a quick cheesy chip/salty chip/battered sausages snack. Service was great. Really friendly staff.

Ali's Pizza and Kebab Crossgar

They really helped me out in an emergency and were really kind and gracious. Class act all the way. Top marks.
Good milkshakes too. Particularly the Nutella one.

McDonald's Downpatrick

I was here recently at this rustic spot..and I was pleasantly suprised. Particularly with one server in particular-going by Georgia. Although the food was mediocre her hospitality made the experience a 10!

Had some food out of here a few times. They have a deal where you can get a pizza, kebab & 2 cans for £13.50. Also the mixed kebab and chicken pakora is lovely. Prices are hard to beat compared to anywhere else in Downpatrick. Killyleagh Catch

popped in here on a weekend away and was blown away. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Batter was crispy, chips were fluffy in the middle. Thats all you need to know. Highly recommended

This is our go to Chinese, the meal deals are hard to beat, great value and good portion size. Really tasty food too and always ready to collect at the time they say.

A really beautiful meal (as usual) and exceptional service. The food is exceptional and exceeds expectations. The staff are warm and welcoming and we always have a lovely time.

Excellent , service great, staff excellent people skills, friendly, accomodating. Food great portions, even better as they are doing french fries now. Would recommend.

In for the new menu £22 for 2 courses the steak sandwich was the best I’ve ever had and raspberry pavlova was beautiful we all enjoyed our food so much and the service was excellent, William always so pleasant and helpful.

Really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this wee bar. Cracker new pool table. Guinness is great. Was in daytime drinking so can't say for later. Seems to have excellent outside area too. Enjoy.

The Cable Bar

A small, quaint pub just up the path from Ballyhornan Beach. We were a fairly large group and the staff handled us extremely well. They stayed pleasant and didn’t rush the Guinness. Highly recommend!

Had a beautiful lunch today, extremely good value for money and food was lovely and fresh. Portion sizes very good. Would highly recommend this wee spot, u won't be disappointed. Very friendly staff. 10/10

McMullans Bar

Stopped here on our way from Crossgar to Enniskillen. Lovely welcome. Just wanted somewhere to watch the football but had a lovely couple of pints and some sandwiches too. Lots of locals in and out and feels like a community space.

Lovely pub full of lovely people. As a Scotsman who has recently moved to northern ireland, I could not have been made feel anymore welcome by not only Declan and his staff, but also by the good friendly people who drink in this pub. Will undoubtedly be my first choice of pub from now on due to the friendly and welcoming reception I've had every time I've been here.

The Ann Boal Inn

A wonderful place! Fortunately, the pub has retained the charm of years gone by. The landlord seems a little grumpy at first, but he is a wonderful, warm man.

We were lucky enough to be there on Saturday evening. Live music that couldn't be more authentic. Not a tourist trap, but music for fun and joie de vivre. Everyone is invited to play or sing along.
A very good example that the people make the pub. Rarely have we been so warmly welcomed and included.
Stay exactly as you are and don't change anything.
We'll definitely see each other again.

Great traditional pub in heart of village. Big shout out to the staff. They made a stranger feel very welcome. Sinnead the manager is very witty and welcoming. I use this pub every time I visit ardglass. Locals are top notch.
