Lovely and cosy village pub with a warm and inviting open fire. Showing the rugby for those who are interested. A nearly open plan lounge provides a quieter setting. No food served but there are other options nearby. Also has an off licence
The staff are wonderful. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the products he sells and will always recommend a good choice. The pub is cosy and the atmosphere relaxing. The place is magic for watching the rugby and gaelic. Soccer too if you're into it and they'll turn the telly down if no one is watching. All round the best pub in strangford and surrounding area!

This is my favourite pub, friendly. comfortable, good craic & great beer. John the boss, pulls what I consider, the best pint of Guinness in the north if not the world. He looks after the beer & it's perfectly fresh.The pub is a traditional old fashioned place & well worth a visit if you're in the village.
