A great name for this place, as it is number one in my book. Just got looked after so we’ll booth my wife and myself for our 44th. Wedding anniversary. Dave and the family and staff were so welcoming and attentive you could ask for no more. Food second to none and you are made so welcome by everyone you meet in Square One. Generous full fry. £7.50. Tasty banoffee. Comfortable seating near the fireplace. Attentive service. Good prices. Friendly service. Main menu has some appealing choices, will return to try them soon.

This family run country bar and restaurant is a real hidden gem.
