48 Lisburn St, HillsboroughWe stopped by The Parson’s Nose for lunch a few days ago while we were in the area, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
I ordered the beef blade pizza from the specials menu, and it was absolutely incredible — the dough was perfectly crisp, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. My husband went for the beef burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and our daughter had the fish and chips, which she completely polished off. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — we were genuinely impressed.
There was only one waiter managing both service and table clearing, so the food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait.
The bill came to around £52, including a soda and a zero beer for my husband. Great atmosphere, delicious food — I’d absolutely love to return and try their lobster or one of the other pizzas next time!

Chip Hawker get it consistently right, soft and moist in the middle with a softer batter with light crisp outside

Parking: There will be 6-8 sets, and it's hard to say for the personal ones.

12 Dromara Rd, HillsboroughGenuinely delightful and well worth a visit. Really lovely, helpful staff serving actually great home made food in generous portions. The vegetable broth was freshly made and tasty, the pulled pork loaded chips was well balanced, yummy and huge - two could split it as a light meal - and you don't want to be full so you've room for pudding. The chocolate orange cake was light, full of flavour and served with warm chocolate sauce - I really wasn't expecting this to be so good. The lemon meringue pie had a crisp buttery base and a great stack of fluffy meringue over the lemon curd.
Best motorway cafe I've been to in forever. Strongly recommend stopping by.

A beautiful pub and environment to sit in, Sean looked after us so well and well the main event was definitely the food, it was out of this world, could not recommend this place more, 10 out of 10

3 The Square, HillsboroughWas passing through this lovely town on our way to Ballygally Castle and decided to grab lunch here. Menu was different than your typical pub. Much more polished and interesting. As if it was designed by actual chefs! I got the shrimp tacos and my girl friend had the soup. Also the hand cut garlic fries and chunky chips as well. Everything was really really good! Will be stopping by on our way home for sure! Top spot and will make sure to recommend to anyone heading up this way!
