My family and I came for our Christmas dinner and all had such good food and a great experience. The atmosphere was set perfectly with a lit fire, lots of Xmas decorations and friendly staff. Katie and Mark were mainly our servers and were so polite, but everyone else was just as nice. I had the popcorn chicken, turkey and ham and the trio to finish. Popped in after the Christmas Market at the castle & had a beautiful meal. It was very busy, but staff were very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere from the moment we arrived. To start I had the squid, I was very impressed with the presentation & the flavour was great. Others at the table had risotto, delicious & brie fritters. V friendly welcome. Good service and tasty food BUT to charge £1 for a couple of spoonfuls of ketchup is pushing it too far especially as the price of meals is already high. Next thing we’ll be getting charged for a jug of tap water.
