Popped in for lunch. The menu is orientated to breakfast/brunch so we found it a bit limited for lunch. I had the smashed avocado/bacon/sourdough bread which was delicious. My wife had two side dishes - beetroot salad and sweet potato fries. The portion size of the side dishes was large and were a more than adequate lunch. Service was like a production line which was understandable as the place was very busy, but good. If you just want a meal, it's excellent.
Busy, spacious cafe set a little off the main street in Royal Hillsborough. I've visited a few times, and food and coffee are both decent, but far from amazing. Staff are a little on the curt side, but with how busy it is I can't blame them. The cafe does feel a little bit like an escalator in that there isn't any "special feeling" here at all.Despite this though, I would still recommend for an afternoon trip or meet-up. Takeout is also available.

Fantastic Coffee shop in Hillsborough. Plenty of seats so even when it gets busy they should be able to squeeze you in and are very accommodating. The selection of tray bakes is good. They also have a good amount of hot foot items in their breakfast and lunch menu. Service was very good and the food arrived quite quickly. Coffees were also great.
