We went here while on holiday, chicken is OK skin not crispy but sloppy very greasy, very slow service seems to me they can only do 1 order at a time, even though there are plenty of staff on, but they are just standing talking and staring at the customer's, but they don't actually take your order. Extremely irregular quality. Used to be great, way better than KFC. Then got new ownership; apparently recipe and cooking instructions weren't part of the deal. Ordered from them a few months ago; no idea how you manage to overcook fried chicken closer to the bone while leaving outside soggy. Gave another shot last week; much improved although the outside was crispy & the meat there nice & moist still overlooked, mysteriously near the bone. This is a good well run place selling the delicious herrons country fried chixken.. Much the same quality all over. Good.. And staff alwqys attentive pleasant and kept busy. And very good value.
