Best place we ate the whole of our trip in Northern Ireland. Food, service and company was amazing. Portions are generous and delicious. BBQ wings smothered in sauce, chicken and pulled pork burger and seafood tagliatelle. Wow! Staying in Kilkeel, a quiet fishing village and the home of my wife’s ancestors. This was our first dinner out. Pleasant attentive staff, outstanding food, fun atmosphere! Did I mention the food? We shared the seafood linguine, a marvelous combination of mussels, prawns and fish, pasta and sauce. Oh the sauce! Just delicious. Garlic bread was also perfect. Best Gammon dish I ever tasted out by. Lovely home made chips. Real chunk of gammon. Peas. Fried egg. Fried onion. All to perfection. Absolutely delicious. And friendly staff. A good place. Very good value for the quality I experienced.
