Janet and I walked up from the Bogside and were delighted to find George’s! Excellent atmosphere, superb people! A couple of pints, refreshed, and we were on our way! Very nice people, and I say that again for emphasis. I fully recommend this pub. Huzzah!
George's Bar, one of the finest old school wee pubs left in Derry, The decor is wall to wall nostalgia and have a story to tell from floor to ceiling, The staff are are honestly some of the best in the business, and the locals are a very welcoming bunch indeed. Highly recommended.
Très bien reçu bonne ambiance !Je parles très mal anglais mais un jeune est venu discuter avec moi en buvant quelques bièresLe meilleur endroit pour comprendre l'histoire chargée de cette ville entre photos historiques a la gloire des martyrs de l'Irlande et maillot de foot gaélique ou du Celic Glasgow...Pas de doute on est bien dans le "free Derry"
