Friendly well run family pub , Jim goes the extra mile to accommodate, very cosy with log fire and romantic lighting in the beer garden.well worth a visit ,you won't be disappointed .

Boyd's is one of the few remaining "classic pubs". No farting about. Just great pints, chilled atmosphere and never a bother. Pool upstairs is a great excuse to get chatting to a few challengers that stick their £££ down. Many fantastic evenings sitting drinking with mates and playing pool and chatting to every man and his dog. The charming simplicity of Boyd's is what makes it so great.
