Our days shopping in Newry would never be complete if we didn't go in for our usual chips curry & tea before we get the bus to the train station. The staff are always so nice & the food hot.
Friar Tucks was always a family favourite. Since they renovated the restaurant it has got worse and worse. The food is now just ok. Portions have got smaller and sometimes ordering can be difficult as the staff don't seem interested in being there. Place needs a good clean. The fact your chair slides on the floor as you are not moving highlights how much grease and dirt is on the floor.
