Gainers is one of those place's where if you don't know where to look and your not local your likely to miss it. Situated in a small walk alley behind the main church in portadown town center were the war memories are locatedOne of the hidden gem's of portadown. I remember Gaynors in the 80s and 90s and their fish and chips haven't changed a bit over the years, consistency is a rare thing these days, succulent fish with just the right amount of moistness and batter, the chips are delicious too, you can always tell it's a successful family run business going by the popularity throughout the years in Portadown. Keep up the great work.

Exactly wot you need lovely fry with a real portion of proper chippy chips some salt n vinegar and a wee pot of tea . Great for breakfast very reasonable we always make it on our stop wen wrkin portadown Danny & Brian
