3 sisters doing the C2C route. The hotel awarded us with a much needed respite from the hills. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, our bikes were taken care of, the room was clean and the beds comfy. Dinner was excellent. Had the cooked breakfast which was ok. Customer service was the best I’ve had at any hotel and couldn’t recommend highly enough.
We had a great one night stay here, in an area that is good for walking as well as cycling. We had a very friendly welcome and ordered our food for the evening meal. The food was excellent including the homemade steak pie and the beef lasagne. A really comfortable nights sleep in the four poster room with its little sitting room, followed by a great traditional breakfast.
Love this little Inn always has a good selection of hand pulled local ales. The owners are lovely people very friendly atmosphere and local peopleWalkability: Great walks around the village in all directionsFood & drinks: Never tried the meals but they sell very good beers. Always call in when visiting family in the area
