Popped in to the bar hoping to catch the footie on the TV. Was told no as 3 people in the pub were watching the darts, and they only had one signal for the 2 tvs. Decided on a quick drink. Got a g&t. Went back to the bar to ask for some lime for it. Bar tender got the cordial out. Do you really need to explain the concept of a bit of fruit for your drink? I got looked at like I had 2 heads. Then advised cash only. Good job I had some. The dart watching regulars left soon after having completely ignored the TV.In short, a pretty poor experience.

The staff here are so lovely and the food is absolutely amazing! There is no baby changing facilities but the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to use the function room. They are family friendly In every other way! With high chairs, appropriate plates, cutlery and nutritious food and staff who know how to talk to little ones. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Alnwick! highly recommend!

We ordered a medium and a small takeaway lunch and the food was delicious with very large portions. The staff were warm and welcolming and service was very quick. I know we will cisit again superb run establisment.

What an amazing place to visit,family, friends & animal friendly! The food Jackie cooks is phenomenal & the best home made food you could think og for very reasonable prices! Could not reccomend a more family friendly place! The staff make you feel at home no matter what your mood is there’s nothing more welcoming. Hands down the best & most welcoming place in Alnwick❤️
