Was doing some shopping with my mother a few months ago in Alnwick and couldn’t decide where to have lunch we definitely made the right decision we weren’t to hungry so just shared a couple starters they were really nice and as it was a quite quiet afternoon we had a good chat with some of the staff who greatI will Occasionally pop in after work for a drink and there’s always a great atmosphere.Lovely place highly recommend : )
Spending a couple of nights in Alnwick between Christmas and New Year. Hotel suggested the Market Tavern. What a great place! Straight forward, unassuming market town pub with excellent service (thanks Cooper), excellent food (perfectly cooked ribeye) and a nice welcoming environment. Well done!!! Totally recommend, if you decide to try it out I’m sure you will not be disappointed.
