Excellent restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food is one of the best curries we have had. The chicken dansak was great. A definite worthy visit if you are in the town.

A very impressive 'curry house' in the centre of delightful Alnwick. My wife and I had a fantastically tasty meal there before a trip to Alnwick Playhouse. The starters were excellent. The main courses even better! My advice is to go for the Chicken Coconut Chilli Ceylon....it was the best curry I've had for years, and I live near Bradfird (the so called home of the curry in Britain). The service was perfect. I will be hoing back...my only problem is how to break away from this most delightful dish.

Delicious food! Very friendly service too and good amount of timings between courses etc. We love a curry any day of the week, but this was one of the best we've had. Very flavoursome and just the right portions. My partner had mixed kebab starter and korma main, I had spicy king prawn puri and the coconut chilli ceylon. We then tried the rice pudding and gulab which we delicious too! Definitely recommend and whenever we're nearby again, we will be back.

We ate at Mumbai this week, following a visit to Alnwick … and were absolutely delighted! Pickle tray had the usual things, but somehow tasted better than usual. Then I ordered Lamb Saag … one of my favourites, but often disappointed due to the poor quality of the meat. Not at Mumbai! It was SO tender and flavoursome… it just fell apart! No hidden gristle or fat. And the sauce was delightful. My husband had Chicken madras, and his comment was ‘brilliant’ ! The service was outstanding without being ‘in your face’ and the value ? Tremendous. Looking forward to a return visit in the future!

Lovely restaurant. They fitted us in without a reservation no problem. Gorgeous food. The chilli coconut Ceylon with king prawns was excellent. Light naan bread and mushroom puri starter was spot on. Wish we lived closer to visit regularly

Had the best Indian in a long time. Meat was very tender. Had starters , 2 main courses and shared rice/naan bread ( glad we did share) value for money and came away full. Staff excellent

A birthday meal at my brother in law's favourite Indian restaurant for his birthday. As ever, we were not disappointed! The food is always exceptional and the service spot on. The locals already know how good this restaurant is, so, if you are visiting the area and are looking for a good Indian restaurant, or takeaway, then give Mumbai Flavours a try. ?

Food was good but the service left a little bit to be desired. Waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted a drink. We also wanted to order slightly off menu and the waiter said no. All in all we were disappointed.

Excellent service and meal Had a great meal and the staff accomodated us even though we didnt have a booking, which i suggest people should do, just to be certain of a table. Couldnt fault the food. Next time we are in Alnwick we will return

Having come across the restaurant by chance on our recent holiday in Northumberland, we ended up eating there twice in 1 week! The warm welcome, excellent service as well as the deliciously flavoured dishes were much appreciated and enjoyed by us. My mum who is a good cook and only offers praise when its due gave it a thumbs up! Had we been local to the area, we would have become regulars

Amazing !!! We live part of the year in india so to eat in uk is impossible ? The Mumbia in Alnwick was recommended to us so we stopped overnight in Alnwick to try this restaurant ??? I'm so pleased we did as a birthday treat ! The best restaurant in the north of England no doubt it was fantastic I had lamb masala wow fantastic
