We stumbled across this place on the way back to our hotel. Wish we had booked here!The dining area was spacious and friendly with a lovely fire.The service was friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic with massive portions. My husband was flabbergasted by the size of the mussels and the roast was incredible. Special shout out to the truffle cauliflower cheese!!Will definitely be returning on our next visit to this part of the country.

Enjoyed our five night stay here over Xmas. Large bedroom, good food, friendly and helpful staff.
My friend and I stopped here for Sunday lunch on our way back to Manchester after holidaying on the coast. The food was AMAZING. The dining room was lovely, with a big roaring fire in the fireplace. The service was absolutely beautiful. And the sticky toffee pudding was perfection. We both ate far too much but didn't regret a single morsel consumed.
