We Called in last night after a day out,The Farriers is perfectly situated on the X15 bus route with the bus stop right at the doorWe ordered a pint of Madri and then we ordered fish and chips from “Off the hook” chippy van situated in the Car park to the rear of the pubThe F&C were THAT good we ate them before taking a pic ? the best bit was we sat in the comfort of the bar to eat them, what’s not to love,“Off the Hook” are at the Farriers every Saturday night serving freshly cooked chippy goodies from 1730hrs to 1930 hrsThe Pub is open every day from 5pm as it doubles as The Running Fox through the dayThe Farriers is one of the last true Northumbrian pubs , proper beer with real people

The Farriers Arms now serves well kept, local real ales and a decent selection of single malts. With a good atmosphere and helpful, friendly service this is a cracking little village pub.
Justin Sheldon
Great pub for dinning in at weekends especially Sunday.
Wrong info on website, poor service, take it or leave it attitude, we left it and went elsewhere. What a shame when we went out of our way to support a village pub.
