First visit to the Shilbottle arm of the infamous Running Fox and we were so pleased we took the journey as it was worth every mile and penny. Greeting was so welcoming and we were immediately settled into a great booth and provided extensive menus. This branch of The Running Fox collection is just lovely. It is small with may be eight tables but this adds to a lovely atmosphere. We had afternoon tea with proper sandwiches, a very filling size of pie, gorgeous scones and a piece of cake from an extensive choice. Perfect place for an afternoon tea. Some of the best scones. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff were so wonderful. Everything was gorgeous. It's our second afternoon tea and it won't be the last
