A good standard for a restaurant, loved the Bollywood movie that was on whilst we chose from the menu, the menu was large but not too large that it fried your brain. Good house specialities and friendly

No issue dining in but delivery was an issue. Set menu was not value for money at £30+ to the door. Mains were all sauce with a tiny rice between two and only 4 small pieces of meat per dish. Quality of food was fine but definitely meagre portioning to maximise profit…..

This was one of the best Indian meals I've ever had!! There were so many dishes I'd not had before and everything we tried was incredible. Favourite thing was the salmon starter - out of this world! Staff were so lovely too and looked after us brilliantly, catering to our dietary requirements really well. Would absolutely go back!!

Ambience, staff courtesy, decor all excellent - but not as good as the food! Quite simply, one of the best curries we’ve ever had. From starter to main to Nan just top quality.

If you ever visit Berwick make sure you try here! We had onion Bhajis, and prawn puree to start with, ( we always share) mushroom rice, keema naan, chicken jalfrezi and lamb chilli ghot, all of it absolutely stunning, just the right heat and washed down with a large cobra each! All for a touch over £50! Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again when in the area!

Looking for a good Indian restaurant whilst staying first time in Berwick upon Tweed. Very glad we found “Amrans”. Great Food. Great Service in a relaxed atmosphere.

Something different for New year. Good voice. Friendly staff. Food was very good. Well worth a visit if in Berwick. Good flavours. Best Peshwari naan we’ve had.

We have eaten here several times and keep coming back. Really good and flavoursome food in sensible sized portions, great naan bread, and always polite, friendly and swift service. I prefer the standard curry dishes, particularly dhansak, to the specials, but they all sound interesting. Only criticism would be that the poppadoms don’t come with lime pickle as standard, but I think you can probably ask for it. Would thoroughly recommend.
