Without hesitation, I would say this is the best steak pie I've ever had.Unbelievably tasty. The meat still had a pink tinge to it. I'm not even sure how that's possible when put into a pie dish.My little boy and better half both had the roast beef Sunday roast. Luckily for me, the wee man never ate all his, so I got to taste it.The roast beef was cooked to perfection. Just popped in (well sat outside to be fair) for a quick pint. Had a real ale on tap so that was a definite bonus. Food looked nice but we didn't try it as we weren't ready to eat whilst we were in there. Very friendly and pleasant. Would go back and try the food given the opportunity. Quaint and old fashioned building.

We did not stay, just popped in for some lunch. First place that says dog friendly where the dog was aloud inside. Waitresses were great and one brought water and treats for the dog when we sat down. Our food was good and the soup was lovely. Great little spot would recommend.
