We booked on a Saturday night at 6pm thinking we would miss the rush. How mistaken we were!!The place was utterly rammed. Usually when a restaurant is full they refuse any more bookings. Not here!! They started bringing in the furniture from outside and ramming people in.The staff were friendly but clearly overwhelmed. The service was slow. When the waiter was disinfecting the table next to us, I had an impromptu shower. Eau de disinfectant!!The tables were set end on (so they could ram more in) which meant that the only way to communicate was by shouting. Luckily for many, they appeared to have no problem at all with shouting!!! This combined with the loud music led to the kind of atmosphere only usually found at kids birthday parties when they’re 10 glasses of full fat Coke in and have eaten ALL of the sugar!!The food was decent, but when they brought the dessert menu, after a quick perusal, the thought of sitting another half hour in the maelstrom of noise waiting for it to arrive was too much and so we asked for the bill.We got a bill, it wasn’t our bill, but at least it came more quickly than the food had!!!So would I go back on a Saturday night? Nope. But, if you’re walking past and it looks quiet then the food is nice!!!

Discovered this place while visiting berwick last year, and we are so happy that we did.The food here is authentic and very tasty yet still manages to provide value for money.The staff are very friendly and welcoming, make you feel right at home.

Food wasn't that good, inappropriate that the chef served our food ,seats were torn, waitress threw the bill on the table before we had finished. Overall experience not very good.
On holiday to Berwick and followed online reviews to find this place. However, this was a terrible dining experience. Service was cold and awkward with no smiles or conversation. The potato skins were very greasy, bland, and the 'dip' they came with was two flavourless mayos dumped on the plate. Yet this was the best part of the meal. The mussels were hard, rubbery and tiny and you essentially paid over a pound per mussel given the amount of shells that were empty. There was also no bread or anything with it meaning you were left with a plate of sauce which was for some reason spicy despite it supposedly being white wine and garlic.Lastly, of the two risottos we got, one was incredibly dry and bland, and the other was overwhelming spicy with the seafood being, again, like rubber. Both dishes had clearly been cooked more than once but we don't have to worry about food poisoning because everything was so overcooked!

Been to Limoncello for the third time this week. What a lovely place to eat.The staff are warm and friendly and the food was great and very reasonably priced. When we come up again from Somerset we will definitely be having another visit.

Visited Limoncello several times during a week in Berwick. The food is of a very high quality and prices are very reasonable making it very good value for money, especially when making the most of the lunchtime deals. I have enjoyed several visits over the years and look forward to many more to come.
