You couldn’t find a friendlier cafe than this. The food is excellent, we had a scone and soup, both were excellent. It has a toilet but it’s not suitable for disabled access via wheelchair. There is parking outside and as with most of Berwick, you need a parking disc. The cafe is situated by the river Tweed with good walks in both directions.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get a wheelchair into the café, but not into the toilet

Disgusting service. Rude woman elderly with grey hair. Very rude to her staff and customers. Will not be coming again. After ordering told to go outside and wait. Very rude!! First time here ....never again.

The food here is delicious. I highly recommend the quiche. It was busy but we managed to get an outdoor table as someone was leaving. Table service but pay at the counter inside when you are done.

Perfect breakfast stop off. Beneath the town walls and situated in the chandlery . Beautifully served, warm and tasty coffee followed by a perfectly cooked bacon bap in a perfectly warm floury bap and a Cumberland sausage bap. Staff were lovely, quick to serve. Was just lovely. Thank you

Excellent as always. We were regulars until we moved house - but have missed the gorgeous home made food this gem of a cafe does SO well. Quiche is the best I have ever had. Staff are lovely and always busy - so may not have loads of time to chat but always welcoming. We also love sitting outside - it feels like a street cafe in a lovely European town. Thank you and well done - always ?

Spotted this place as we headed back to the car park by the quay. Planned to have a coffee but the crab sandwich looked so good. As we were a group we had two crab sandwiches and some mozzarella toasties too. The food was soo tasty but the crab sandwiches were another level. We followed up with cakes and coffee which were all delicious. Definitely worth a return visit.

Had a delicious lunch yesterday at this very friendly place. The open crab sandwich and panini were very tasty. There was a large selection of herbal teas and I can certainly recommend the lemongrass and ginger. My husband enjoyed his 2 flat whites. Both the tea and coffee are locally sourced in Newcastle. The two homemade cakes we had were very yummy. We sat outside with our dog who loved the fuss they made of her and they even brought her her own water bowl. All in all a great find and we will certainly be back when visiting the area in the future.

Food and coffee was acceptable. Customer service is absolutely shocking and for this reason I wouldn’t recommend. How difficult is it to be nice snd maybe have a wee smile!

Really good food, super friendly staff and quick service. Not dog friendly so had to sit outside but no bother. Lovely coffee.

Gluten free crab sandwich and blueberry and banana cake- both were delicious. A great find with polite and helpful staff.

We've visited several times and it's always a pleasure. Lovely atmosphere with a good selection on their menu and a wonderful place to stop for a bite to eat. Prices are quite reasonable (especially for what you get and the service you get compared to the well known chain coffee places).Leaving a review today because we always enjoy our experience but in particular today we visited very close to closing time without realising how late it was getting. The staff very kindly offered to serve us for just coffee and cake which was exactly what we were wanting, and we sat outside with the dog :)There were four of us visiting; the selection of cakes we tried were all excellent but the key lime pie was the star of the show! Highly recommended.

Stopped in here for a lovely outdoor breakfast in this beautiful town by the sea. Service was impeccable and the scones and a bacon/ cheese roll were delicious. Such a nice way to start our day with a wonderful meal, smiling service and good coffee! My husband said it was the best coffee of our 8 day trip to the UK!

Called in for coffee and cake. We were only in town to break our journey. Staff were very friendly. The food was really good, the drinks were very nice. Set in a nice location slightly detached from the main town. Has a car park next to it (not owned by this business). Right next to the waterfront. Not a big place, but it's definitely a good place to go.Parking: Public car park next to this business. Plenty of free and paid parking nearby.
