Pubs in Berwick Upon Tweed

“Visited the restaurant last night with my partner, the food was stunning. Ordered the steak which was a splendid cut and cooked to perfection, plus the chicken tikka skewers were packed with flavour and plates were plentiful!Staff were extremely attentive nothing was too much trouble. The venue is also dog friendly so he got treats and fuss too.A lovely experience thank you.”

“Had a great time in this little pub in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Saw it highly rated in Google so went in for a pint (or two) after a long day of walking. Small, but well-curated selection of cask ales and ciders that offer something for everybody. Light snacks and food are on offer. Was filled with attentive staff and a bunch of friendly regulars. If ale or cider is what you're looking for in Berwick-upon-Tweed, then The Curfew is for you.”

“Many of the family stayed here for my Cousin's 60th birthday. the hotel was lovely. I had asked for a downstairs room and was delighted to have one. it is a long walk from the front of the building to the rooms, but they are lovely. beds are soft but comfortable. small ensuite but practical. We were at the party on Saturday night but on Sunday morning had a great breakfast, all cooked to your specification. I had bacon, sausage, black pudding (which I love) scrambled eggs, beans, and brown toast. it was lovely and plenty of mint tea for me. others in the party had a similar combination. Some had tomatoes and omitted what they did not want. Good choice of cereal and juices. Will definitely be back if I visit again.”

“Just popped in for a pint. Large, pleasant bar. Only 1 real ale on, Northumbrian Gold, but good pint in good condition. The unofficial station waiting room?”

“Regularly head to Foxtons when down at the family caravan. The low reviews are frankly bizarre. Never had a bad meal, bad service or any need to complain about anything.Food is cooked well. Priced well and served with a smile. I have recommended to numerous people to dine here and all have had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to getting back asap”

“Great pub for a drink. Very spacious. The few times we popped in we found the piped music was a bit on the loud side. Sitting by the entrance helped with this as there were no speakers there. It has an accessible entrance and toilet.”
