By pure chance we found the Mason Arms From the moment we stepped in to the pub, the bar maid couldn’t have been more helpful.After choosing our drinks we were shown in to the lovely dining room at the rear, the menu was a great selection of pub food greats. We shared a garlic mushroom starter and glad we did. Many of the family stayed here for my Cousin's 60th birthday. the hotel was lovely. I had asked for a downstairs room and was delighted to have one. it is a long walk from the front of the building to the rooms, but they are lovely. beds are soft but comfortable. small ensuite but practical. We were at the party on Saturday night but on Sunday morning had a great breakfast, all cooked to your specification. A traditional country pub and restaurant with a great atmosphere. The Masons catered for our family meal of 14 and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming too. We will definitely be back!
