Took my 7 year old daughter for Sunday dinner. I had the veggie roast, and she had fish fingers and chips. The food was beautiful, the fish fingers were homemade in batter so would definitely recommend them. And for pudding, I had sticky toffee pudding(very tasty), and my daughter had the Ice Cream Fun. Just been for a family meal and it was lovely. Food was good, plenty of choice, and the service was great. We weren't made to feel uncomfortable when the baby was being restless and the waitress Ailisha (hopefully spelt correctly) was lovely with both children. Would have been nice to go in the beer garden & on the little park but typical British weather stopped that. Would go again if in the area. No unfortunate compromises in this budget friendly hotel. Booked a single room for an overnight stay. Room was clean and nicely decorated, small ensuite was very nice. Ate dinner in the restaurant, good pub menu and a tasty burger. Full English breakfast was also very good. Definitely recommended.
