Great service and food for an annual family gathering. The MH has been the best venue we've tried.

Didn't stay over but ate dinner on Saturday evening, which was hot, hearty and tasty... What more can you ask? It's not fine dining but then neither are the prices but they serve good, well prepared meals at a decent price.Everyone was friendly, accommodating and the level of service was very good.I did have to prompt for a few drinks and the bill later in the evening but the bar had filled and so it was a bit busy, however they made sure we were looked after as soon as possible. We'll definitely return, as it's worth a visit.Food & drinks: Good, pub grub

Fell upon this pub whilst in Haltwhistle looking for something to eat. Nearly drove past it but so glad we didn't. Four of us had Sunday lunch which was amazing. On to dessert and they had run out of cream. Bar staff ran to the corner shop to buy some! We were all flabbergasted! Level of service is second to none. Food great. Thanked our lucky stars we are moving there soon. We'll be regulars! Fantastic.

Great hotel and restaurant in Haltwhistle. Beautiful building in the heart of the city center which also happens to be the center of Britain. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The restaurant inside the hotel is wonderful with great dishes every night and complimentary freshly made breakfast. The rooms have everything you'd want in a hotel room and a great staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone coming to the area for Haidens wall or any of the other reasons to come to this remote gem!

I enjoyed my stay at the Manor House. The staff were friendly, and responsive to my needs. My room was cozy and the bed allowed for a good night's sleep during my stay. The pub was a bonus, I enjoyed several pints and a few delicious meals including daily breakfast. If I'm ever back in the center of Britain, I will return the the Manor House!Rooms: I had the king bed room and was happy with my accomodations. The bed was comfortable. You get tea and coffee in your room.Walkability: Haltwhistle is a small village, so there is plenty of places within an easy walk from the Manor House.Food & drinks: The restaurant served us many good meals during our stay. Daily breakfast helped to stay the day. The menu has plenty of options, so you don't really need to go anywhere else if you have a short stay.

The rooms were small but fine. We had booked the honeymoon suite, but the bed fell apart (no, not like that) so we were moved next door to a very small room. But slept fine and of course only paid for the smaller room.Food was fine.

Stopped by for a lovely Sunday roast after a day of exploring the area. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and made sure we were happy with everything. 10/10!

My husband and myself had a 2 night stay with our dog, the staff were really friendly and accommodating when we arrived the bed in our room was broken and dismantled, so they offered us another room with a double bed and bunk beds unfortunately the double bed was on a slope, I was unable to sleep in it without rolling into the middle, so had to sleep on the bunk bed, the rooms where small but clean, the breakfast was lovely so was the evening meal.. not luxury accommodation however pleasant stay apart from the bed situationRooms: Clean bit smallFood & drinks: Lovely food, great breakfast

The only place I experienced in all of England where one of the staff, a young cheeky woman, was not overwhelmingly gracious and helpful. Launderette across the street, which is really important at times.

Had a lovely over night stay. Fantastic meal and breakfast . Could not fault anything. Room clean, bed very comfy.Staff were very friendly and welcoming .Lucky enough to have great weather when we were there and enjoyed sitting in the beer garden with a glass of wine. Will definitely be back to stay when we are in the area.

We have stayed here before but this time the bar staff stated they were calling last orders as 11pm which was fine, but then they cashed up the tills at 10:40 and wouldn't take an order after that. They just disappeared and left us with a very drunken stranger in the bar. Would have liked that one last drink. Food good and rooms excellent.
