Didn't stay over but ate dinner on Saturday evening, which was hot, hearty and tasty... What more can you ask?It's not fine dining but then neither are the prices but they serve good, well prepared meals at a decent price.Everyone was friendly, accommodating and the level of service was very good.I did have to prompt for a few drinks and the bill later in the evening but the bar had filled and so it was a bit busy, however they made sure we were looked after as soon as possible.We'll...read full review

Fell upon this pub whilst in Haltwhistle looking for something to eat. Nearly drove past it but so glad we didn't. Four of us had Sunday lunch which was amazing. On to dessert and they had run out of cream. Bar staff ran to the corner shop to buy some! We were all flabbergasted! Level of service is second to none. Food great. Thanked our lucky stars we are moving there soon. We'll be regulars! Fantastic.

Great hotel and restaurant in Haltwhistle. Beautiful building in the heart of the city center which also happens to be the center of Britain. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The restaurant inside the hotel is wonderful with great dishes every night and complimentary freshly made breakfast. The rooms have everything you'd want in a hotel room and a great staff.
