Everything the Abbey cafe does is fabulous. I was in last week and had Soup of the Day (I groaned internally when I heard it was Tomato and Basil) and a cheese scone. It was a delicious combination, however.

Although they were busier than usual due to the holiday we were found a seat very quickly and food arrived quickly after ordering. Very tasty and would certainly recommend.

Had a scone with jam and ginger beer. Staff members were very friendly and helpful.
Service was appalling the staff just didn't appear to know what they were doing. I walked out in the end and would never go back.

Jacket potato could have been warmer and then ordering a coffee afterwards was told 20 mins wait so left. Thought we would have got ours quicker as we had had meals.Lovely location and the only cafe we could find open as it was Sunday
