Decided to have lunch after a visit to Warkworth Castle. This restaurant is a family run establishment serving good quality food. I can thoroughly recommend the pickled herring starter and the lemon sole fillet served with mini roast potatoes and vegetables. My wife had a bowl of lovely soup and the vegetarian dish of the day. Fantastic food, first rate service and charming atmosphere. Not the cheapest but then you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. Thoroughly recommended. I will be going again.
