I'm a regular at weekends, always a good live band on. Good atmosphere and usually busy, slight down side obviously is getting served sometimes.Another couple of bar staff would help.
I have only been here twice. My first time was to play a gig as a deputy with a well known local Ska outfit several years ago, and the second was this evening. I fired in two quick Smith's around teatime. At £2.70 a throw, coming from Toon, I thought that was awesome. Good drinkers vibe in there it is. No kids, no Babysham which is absolutely spot on. There's a few decent TVs showing sports and MTV type stuff and the wireless wasn't too loud blurting out the dukebox selection....read full review

Loved it place was jumping on saturday night live band on and good atmoshere, prices were reasonable seemd to have a lot of locals in all friendly and would go back in a heartbeat a little further than i would normally travel for a night out but if you do i would reccomend the white swan even without live band pub is great
