Absolutely sensational food. I had the smoked mackerel pate, the squash and feta wellington and the rhubarb and custard Eton mess. Incredible flavours. Honestly one of the best meals I have had in years.

Family meal on Mothers Day afternoon.Excellent service, great choice for the adults, and good quality.We really enjoyed our meals.We had a 7 year old that didn't want anything on the menu.The chef agreed to make "the best beefburger", which he did eat, and agreed it was the best.Thanks for looking after us, on what was no doubt a really busy day.

The Beresford arms is an amazing place. The food is second to none. The staff are helpful. Kind greeting, well dressed. The drinks are reasonably priced. The food. On the other hand, I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which came with a small bit of ice cream and it was just to die for. I would highly recommend this place so anybody in the Northumberland region code to Walton and enjoy the food.

Very nice pub serving a good range of drinks and meals. They have an online presence so it's easy to check menus and accommodation etc before your visit. The pub is around 10miles from Morpeth and serves food 6 days a week. Good choice of tasty 'classic' and main courses to choose from, and Aspall cider on draft. Currently 50% off mains (Jan 2024).
The pub has a great selection of beers, very good food and a friendly, warm atmosphere. Especially good value this January and February as main courses are on at half price! The Cottage Pie was delicious.

Situated a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Morpeth, the Beresford enjoys a tranquil setting in the village of Whalton. Parking is no problem with a large car park and the pub has recently been tastefully refurbished.A group of us had lunch here yesterday. The food was perfectly cooked and well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.
