Visited in October. Decent chips. Only thing that I did find off-putting was the aquarium fish tank in the shop. It was absolutely filthy and needed a good clean. I felt sorry for the few fish in the tank. If you're going to have an aquarium as a feature in your shop, please look after it.

We've been coming here for years, and the fish and chips are always perfect! It is very busy, so it can take 20-30 minutes for your order to be completed. But it will be worth the wait!I'd recommend the classic fish and chips with curry sauce, but the chicken is also very good.

Lovely chips and mushy peas. A bit pricey though, and they took ages to cook, so expect a long wait, however well worth it. Place could do with a lock of paint, hasn't changed since Chippy Willy worked there in the 90s.

It is a very traditional fish and chip shop with great food and great service. The food is cooked to ordered meaning it is fresh and delicious.
I ordered a haggis and chips. The chips was the size of the palm of your hand, extra mayonnaise. for three small dips, £1.20
Decent chips. Fish was nicely cooked and fresh. Welcoming, several regulars queued.
