Quite possibly the worst cup of coffee (if it even was coffee) I have ever had in my life! No atmosphere, not particularly clean, sticky carpets and tables and sadly no redeeming features. Sorry ?

Bought a coffee and a bacon egg bap to go.The coffee was diabolical, couldnt drink it and the bap was full of grease. The price was extortionate too at £6.50. Normal price anywhere else is £2 less at £4.50.Would not recommend.

What a wonderful breakfast. Very tasty indeed. Fried Bread is a treat I don't get often and they do it good in here. Great value, friendly service and an authentic place. Just perfect.

The best chilli con carne and lentil soup I have ever had. Fantastic value for money in a wonderful simple honest to goodness country market town cafe. Right, where's the toasted tea cakes at.

Quick visit for a bit to eat after a spur of the moment decision to walk along Simonside. Busy place with weekend bikers, but we had a slice of quiche, a coffee and a slice of Mars bar krispie cake. Friendly staff, table service and empty plates from us ?

Appalling customer service and poor food. They didn't even greet us when we entered and kinda ignored us. The girl who took our orders wasn't even smile. We are not local so at least they could have been friendly. Such a shame because it's a cute little cafe, I won't recommend this cafe.

If I could give no stars I would, appalling customer service, food poor and ridiculously priced £6 for a plain cheese toastie with 6 tortilla chips (yes 6)Table sticky and floors unclean.I could have forgiven all of this if the customer service was good, but I was greeted with not one person at the till, they were all laughing out the back, then when I was served I was made to feel like a problem. Would not recommend this cafe to anyone.

This is a cafe on the main street in Rothbury. We were staying nearby and popped in for a drink on the way home. My son needs a gluten free diet so i asked what was gluten free, not an unreasonable question these days and a notice behind the counter said to ask about dietary needs / allergies. The girl serving had no idea, no offer to find out or any interest at all, essentially a shrug. My daughter had already sat down for a promised drink so we had those then left, needless to say we won't be back here. The table was also sticky. The place appears to be popular with bikers and has a greasy spoon feel to it, the full English and the bacon sandwiches did look decent to be fair but particularly in the holiday season places need to have a cross appeal and in this case a basic lack of customer service has cost them possibly a weeks worth of visits.

Popped in for coffee, cake and rest break. Toilet still out of order... Didn't stay. Went to pub over road. Good coffee, nice cake and a working toilet there. So spent our cash there.

An awful experience simply expecting a decent cup of coffee and a clean toilet . My group of 7 were greeted with unfriendly staff , sour milk for the Americana coffees ( which was replaced ) and a very watery strange tasting latte. The toilets were disgusting and food (oil ) stored right next to them.
