Got takeout fish and chips x 2 and a large sausage and it was £29 !!! £12.50 for each fish meal and £4 for a cheap sausage Absolute day light robbery Fish and chips was ok and all the chip shops in Seahouses we saw charged the same. May as well eat in a proper restaurant for not much more

Ordered the Haddock but the batter was dry and broken away. The vegetarian pie was microwaved and chewy. The vegetarian gravy was thick and looked like steak gravy, questionable at the very least. Asked cook said it was vegetarian but still unsure.

Good food, good service and reasonable prices what else can you ask for. We visited over a very busy Easter weekend, but we were seated, served and fed efficiently and with a smile. Well done to your team who were clearly working their backsides off x

Gorgeous fish & chips and well worth the wait. Very crispy batter on delicious fish, well cooked chunky chips and a side of gravy! One happy Yorkshire lass!

Very nice fish and chips with large portions, one of the best chip shop curry sauces I’ve had. The pizza bites were very tasty as well. Nice and friendly staff, absolutely will return.

The dishes are delicious. Battered shrimp tails are delicious, but there is more batter than shrimp. )))) chicken sausages are worse than fresh fish in batter. That's what you need to take.

Neptune has always been our go-to fish restaurant in Seahouses. Unfortunately on Monday it was way off the mark. I hope that it was an off day. We won't be back.

Visited today after a walk on the beach. Didn’t know where to eat - saw a few people sitting eating so thought we would give it a try. We were greeted with a smile. We were asked if there was anywhere in particular we would like to sit. He chose a perfect seat. We were hungry but not starving so we chose the light bite fish and chips £12.95 - fish and chips, mushy peas, bread and butter with a pot of tea. This was absolutely delicious. What an amazing price. This is a substantial lunch. Would recommend Neptune if you are in Seahouses.

Went on a little family holiday and had heard amazing things about this place leading up to our trip. 5/7 days we went to try and have our tea (4.30 one day!) It was closed. Very disappointing, HOWEVER, when we finally managed to get in on day 6, it was amazing! 3 of us ordered the lighter bites and it was incredible. Definitely value for money. If you want a gamble on tea, 100% give Neptune's a go

Fish was very disappointing, flesh was soaking wet and like mush. A place like this should never be seeing frozen fish. Will be going back to Lewis from now on.

Nipped in here after writing in fish and chips into my sat nav and this came up as the nearest. Didn’t take long to be cooked. We were having it as a take away. They wrapped the food up and handed it over and I didn’t open it until I got back to my car. They had missed my mushy peas off my fish and chips. My daughter had sausage chips and gravy. Was very tasty. Would have preferred to of had mushy peas with mine but couldn’t be bothered to walk back to the fish and chip shop from the carpark I was parked in. Still tasted good though! Quite pricey costing over £20 for two meals.
