local pub with Wetherspoon prices (lower prices) - excellent value for money. We particularly like this pub because the staff is nice and welcoming. good to have a good time with couple or just with friends. recommend definitely
Friendly staff, better than adequate food, decent "community" atmosphere. You kind of expect all Wetherspoons to be the same, but they really aren't... And this one is definitely on the better end of the spectrum. The one thing they have in their favour: the staff. They are competent, friendly and considerate. If I could, I'd knock half a star off for the fact that smokers congregate round the entrance door (despite the prominent no smoking signs!), so it can be a bit of a nicotine...read full review

Been here a couple of times, but on this occasion . Rated poor only on disabled toilet being locked was told to ask for key but no signage . No access for first floor without using steep staircase.. on the whole disappointing
