First time visiting this amazing place today for some lunch. We were on the way to Nottingham and chose Chequers as the reviews I had read suggested they are very welcoming to dogs which is a big thing for us, and they really were ?? The staff were lovely and the food was so good I can’t wait to go back again ? everything about this place is great!Thank you ?
We booked a buffet for a family event (25 people) and everyone was very impressed with the surroundings, the food , and the service. Graham, George and the team did a fantastic job accommodating all members of our party from 14yrs to 97yrs and everyone in between.The more local ones of us will definitely back .

Hope to pop in for a bite to eat on the hoof but sadly we couldnt be squeeze in. Clearly a very popular spot so book in advance. Nonetheless had a couple of drinks and the owner was very welcoming and the locals chatty. Nice decor and atmosphere. Looking forward to eating there
