What a gem! Quintessential English tea room/cafe. Compact but attractive interior, all very clean. Nice crockery and cutlery, and above all really good food at very reasonable prices. For a fairly small place, there is a surprisingly good range of cooked food available, and plenty of tempting cakes and desserts too. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff and reasonably priced good quality food. Great stuff.Edit! Their sausage cobs have kept us going during lockdown. Wonderful. Can recommend the afternoon teas too.Edit, edit. Still a fab cafe. Super reasonable prices even in the face of a cost of living crisis. 20 quid for 2 medium breakfasts and a sausage cob + drinks for 3 of us! Recommended.

Popped in for a coffee as I was passing. I ordered a hazelnut latte, extra hot and a chocolate scone with butter. I prefer when I can to support small businesses.The coffee was hot and smooth tasting. The scone was ok but I wouldn't order it again. For me I prefer a fruit scone.The owners were lovely and friendly.The price was very reasonable and I'll definitely return.Parking: Parking outside when you can. It was busy just after 11.00am so I parked down the road.
