This pub in the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse is a proper locals pub with a lovely outdoor drinking area, and there is a lovely ambuance to the interior drinking areas the landlady was friendly and the 4 hand pumps were well kept acceptable beers

Leeming Ln N, Mansfield Woodhouse, Mansfieldpopped in for a drink today we sat in the clearly marked no smoking area . we were then joined by a lovely family with a baby . we then joined by customers from the bar. who then proceeded to smoke in our area. i reminded them that this was a no smoking area they begrudgingly moved a few wteps. we were then joined by another young lad and i reminded him also .HE then said he could smoke there as he was bar staff. I then went inside and spoke to the manager / owner who looked at me like I was just having a moan he said he,d have a word no apology nothing . May I remind them that it is illegal for people to smoke in a no smoke area

I've frequented DD for a few years now, and thank god it's never changed. The salt & pepper chips/chicken from here is my favourite meal in the world. Friendly experienced staff that make sure you get what you want when you order.Glad you guys reopened for takeaway, missed you while you were gone.

My lady got a plain doner and then puts sauce on at home and even their plain doner tastes mint! Thanks once again guys

A large group entered as we left. We were welcomed. Staff were polite and attentive. We'll be back for sure.
