A rock-solid, well priced, local chippy that never lets you down. Finding a good local chippy, that has all your favourites, always piping hot, with lovely golden chips, is more challenging now than ever. We tried most of the locals during our first couple of years in the area, and Forest Town is the one we always go back to. Good food, fairly priced, and good folks behind the counter that always have a smile for you. Job's a good 'un!
This chippy for me has got to be one of the best around,I live in Mansfield Woodhouse and I'll travel up to forest town especially to use your chip shop. The chips are delicious,best iv had in a long time. The chicken meat is to die for. You are a great price too. The only chippy I can go to and feed 5of us for £20 and that's with a 2ltr bottle of pop. Keep up your amazing work. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed

Absolutely amazing food I go here every Saturday for mum.Cod is freshly cooked, chips are always beautiful and hot.Sausages are standard chip shop sausages like any other chippy.The Mediterranean chicken is really nice and full of flavour.The ladies on the counter are lovely people.Everytime I go the chip shop is very busy.I would highly recommend
