The restaurant wasn't busy, but that hides the fact that the food is great.
Three of us stopped tonight in our way south.
Well worth it.

Town St, NewarkWe stopped off half way through a long journey and were surprised to find the restaurant virtually empty.
We received an extremely friendly and efficient welcome.
The food was local, home made and delicious... the best pies we have had in a long while.
This pub deserves to be much more busy.
