We visited The Bees Knees on 22.03.24 What a gem of a place, great friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and the landlord such a lovely bloke, one of the best we have ever come across. We both had the steak and ale pie which was delicious, the meat was so tender and it was very tasty. I followed with apple crumble which was lovely the only downside being I was too full to finish it. So compliments to the chef. Thankyou for such a lovely meal and your hospitality. A lovely little cosy tea room with outdoor courtyard seating in warm weather. Very welcoming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food cooked beautifully to order. Lots of parking. Well worth a visit but check opening hours first.Parking: Plenty of free parking available.

First ever visit. We were greeted with a lovely welcome from Claire. Also nice greeting from the locals who were sitting in the bar with their pints. So, the atmosphere was positive from the start.But even better and warmer than the genuine welcome was the brilliant food from Matt and the caring service from Claire. The food was outstanding, hot, freshly cooked, and generous. The beer is brilliant. The value for money is outstanding. This place knocks spots off many other local hostelries for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Our first visit, but certainly not our last. We just wish we’d found the Eryre Arms sooner.

Absolutely beautiful food and service was the best I’ve known, everyone should try this pub, it’s traditional good pub grub, Beth, Gen and the chef Jay were absolutely excellent, so accommodating thank you everyone, we had a fabulous meal and time in a beautiful setting
