The Bees' Knees Pub
Main St, Laneham, RetfordGreat little pub with lots of friendly locals. Rugby themed with large dining area although we didn't eat there. Definitely worth calling in if you are in the village

THE COURTYARD TEA ROOM
HALL FARM, Collingham Rd, Newton on Trent, LincolnAmazing quaint tearooms .. can’t believe we have such an gem so close … owners couldn’t have been more accommodating right through from booking (with a list of dietary requirements) to walking out today after having a mother day afternoon tea and quite honestly the nicest afternoon tea we have ever had. Everything is made fresh in house, we had .. each … 2 rounds of sandwiches, very large quality sausage roll, mini quiche in rich pastry, massive scone, jam & clotted cream, lemon possit, cookie dough slice, lemon drizzle cake, mini Victoria sponge, shortbread biscuit plus strawberries & blueberries then a glass of elderberry fizz and pot of tea or coffee !!! I mean !!! Honestly we’re eating the rest for tea!! You will not be disappointed and we will be going again soon.
I can’t seem to add a photo !! Honestly it’s looks amazing ?

The Plough Inn
Town St, South Leverton, RetfordProper village pub, small enough to care yet big enough to cope.
The bitter was stunning, the real log fire an attraction (despite it being unseasonably warm) but the big winner here is the pizzas - delivered from a van in the car park.
It's small but worth seeking out.
Please note: cash only!!
