Love this pub! If ever we are in the area we make a point of visiting. Superb food, all of the finest quality, cooked to perfection. I recommend their fish and chips meal! Staff are lovely and the locals friendly. The pub also is linked to a micro brewery who provide a nice pint from the range of Idle beers they serve. What is not to like? A gem of an English village pub that I am delighted to recommend to anyone pondering on a visit!

This is a really nice place to have lunch and a drink. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by our friendly host. Menu choice was very good and included a good range of vegetarian options. The Idle Brewery made IPA was perfect!Vegetarian options: A very good range of veggie meals.

Had the best restaurant fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was fresh, moist and large, with a delicious batter! The price was reasonable as well. All our party thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well. Recommended.
