Pancake rolls were slightly under cooked. Beef curry was tasty. Prompt delivery and the food was hot.

Absolutely beautiful food! The wandering Dragon was a risk well worth it & worth every penny.Early delivery which was brilliant plentiful portions just spot on. Not given 5 stars as my fussy wife didn't really like the honey roast pork as it was a bit to dry, however the dogs loved it. I would order from here again - beats other takeaways on a Saturday night.

Brown food. This really wasn't great Chinese food. One of the options ordered was the mixed vegetables with cashews. There was a bit of baby corn, onion, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts - it really wouldn't hurt to put some greens in there, would it? Pak choi? Choi Sum perhaps? Another option ordered was the Szechuan beef, which should be a bit on the spicy side - this one wasn't. The beef was chewy rather than tender and also suffered from a lack of colour. Fried rice should be something that a Chinese restaurant can't get wrong. I'd put money on that the egg fried rice came from a packet of microwave rice.It can't be easy running a take away/restaurant but China City isn't doing itself any favours by serving up this stuff. I can't bring myself to eat from here again.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this place, food was mediocre but the real kick in the teeth was the customer service. Never have I had to deal with such unprofessional little brats before at a takeaway. Basic respect and manners for a paying customer would be nice for a start, and then I’m told that they don’t accept card payments. Who in this day and age doesn’t accept card, I mean barely anyone carries cash anymore. On top of this I ordered over the phone so you would think that if you don’t accept card you would tell me that over the phone. Then I’m told I have to bank transfer them which again, is very unprofessional and to top it off the 2 people behind the counter just burst out laughing for god knows what reason. Overall very unimpressed and I will not be eating or visiting here again.

They lady who was on the on phone today Tuesday 7th November taking orders needs to find a new job that she can actually do. Don’t work somewhere if you can’t read of your own menu and can’t be bothered to help someone with a heath condition with their order!!

In town for a couple of nights, so hit up China City for some delivery as not familiar with the area. I did call them to confirm my location, and they were very friendly on the phone.Food arrived within the time specified and it was hot and tasty! Chinese food can be hit and miss, with the different styles of cooking, but this food was just like home and tasted very light and fresh! Certainly not drowned in oil and heavy. I would certainly recommend China City.

Absolutely atrocious customer service doesn’t even deserve 1 star - owner hung up on me when I was questioning why our order had been cancelled. Order due to arrive at 7pm - Received a message at 715pm saying it was half an hr late and we could request some money back, at which point we did to then only find out at 740pm that the entire order had been cancelled with no warning. Disgusting service. Rude owner.

Ordered for collection in shop.Definitely not the worst chinese I've had. Service was good and around 15mins wait on Saturday night. Egg fried rice was nice and well seasoned. Black bean sauce a bit thin but nicely seasoned, with black beans in.Down side was vegetable spring rolls had a weird musty flavour and couldn't eat them.Rest of Food was good though and enjoyed it.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options not great, vegetables in various sauces, no tofu.

Food was nice and initial delivery time was on time. However our sweet and sour chicken balls were missing from the original delivery. Called China City to say they were missing and to ask them to be brought to us or to have a refund. The lady we spoke to was very very rude. She said we would have to come out to get them from the restaurant. When we explained this wouldn't be possible she said she could arrange a 10% discount off our next order which is far less than the cost of the sweet and sour chicken balls or we could repay the delivery fee for them to be delivered. She laughed at us when we explained that a 10% discount would not cover the cost of the chicken balls. She also seemed insistant that we would have to pay for the delivery driver to come back out which felt unfair as it was an error on the restaurants end. It was challenging to get her to put us on the phone to her manager to discuss the issue. It took 6 minutes of arguing with her before we finally spoke to the manager. The manager fixed the issue quickly and was very amaicable and apologetic and said we could apply for a refund through Just Eat or wait an hour for the delivery driver to return and bring the chicken balls out to us. He apologised that it couldn't be sooner as all the drivers were out at that time. Eventually a delivery driver brought the chicken balls out to us but he didn't ring the door bell so we didn't hear him knocking. He then phoned to say he was there and apologised for the mistake. There was a fortune cookie in the bag with the chicken balls. The manager's response was great, however their front of house staff leave a lot to be desired. Won't be ordering from here ever again.

Got my families order completely wrong and food was cold and vile, not to mention the lady on the phone had no idea what she was doing.

I would not order from here again. The delivery guy was lovely, although the food looked and tasted as if it had been warmed up from earlier in the day. Noodles were bland, beef mushy and chips were old, cold and hard. sorry guys, no vote from me.
