Called in for a cheeky pint while out shopping yesterday. Great selection of real ales, I had the Elsie Mo - obviously well kept beer, tasted great. Also tried half a pint of strong cask stout called "Snowball" which was excellent. My wife isn't as refined as I am so she wanted a prosecco, which they also stock - bonus.Got peckish while I was there and decided to try some of the Mexican street food. Really glad I did! A super friendly and welcoming pub, with a great relaxed atmosphere. Loads of craft beers on offer and the Holy Moly mexican food is so good!! Definitely recommend the veggie burrito.Vegetarian options: There's loads of options - the chips and veggie burrito are both really good!

Mexican food was well nice and very reasonable, beer was excellent and the service and staff were very good. Atmosphere wasn't great but it was 5pm on a Monday so can't blame them for that! This was the last of three work visits to Newark and I'm very annoyed that we went to other pubs/restaurants for food on the first two, this place was way better. Would definitely recommend. Will be back if I'm ever in Newark again
