Hired the top room for my dad's wake .I cannot pick one fault with anything .you do not find places like this anymore .staff .food .service atmosphere was more than we could ask for everyone commented on just how good it is .a special mention for Jack who went above and beyond to ensure the event went well .a huge thank you to you all
We visited Gilt early July for a family get together, using their upstairs area which is cosy and has a bar. There were a range of options for food, depending on budget/occasion and we chose a mix of cold and hot buffet items. Food was plentiful, fresh and tasty and a staff member was looking after our group the whole time, serving at the bar and tidying up. I could not fault anything at all. Just love this place. Seems to be one of the most popular in town. We do enjoy the type of coffee here but food a little expensive now. A nice seating area out on the pavement albeit a crowded feel at times as it's next to the bus stop.
