I used to use this place regularly and it was good. But due to an apparent change in management/ownership it dropped off a bit, most especially with the service - the people serving would often ignore you, after casting a glance. So I stopped going.However, I've used it a couple of times recently (it seems it is under new management again). Updated 25/2/23: again super food red hot ordered at 19:17 and told 45 mins....no problem, delivered at 19.40 lvly lady takin order and delivered my order too...thank you 100% recomend......Updated: 8/2/23Yet again great food lvly lady taking order and delivery, very polite,Food fresh and red hot when arrived...........Lvly chippy, never had a bad meal, my grandaughter loves the kids meals.But the best is the large fish always served fresh and absolutely massive

Lovely staff but I think the delivery orders take priority over the customers in the shop. Used to always come here but since lockdown I've found that the waiting time in shop takes longer and longer. Last time I waited 15 minutes for undercooked chips and soggy fish. If you have transport I recommend going to Ruddington or west bridgeford(wolds). Overall time from leaving home to getting back is no different but the food is far superior. Shame really, this used to be the best...read full review
