Good, clean, pleasant stop. Toilets were clean with a good system in place, and it would appear being stuck to, for regularly scheduled maintenance of hygiene standards. Let's face it, a visit to the Gents at most motorway services (especially in the summer) is never going to be high on most blokes bucket list (unless it's a sick bucket) ... so, imagine how surprising it was to visit these loos! Only popped in for a toilet break and to pick a drink up from WH Smith. Toilets were nice and clean, as was the rest of the service station, and all the staff were friendly. Not a huge choice of places to eat though if you were stopping for a bite to eat. Plenty of parking.

Good range of eating venues. However these services are always let down by the toilet facilities, the smell reaches you 10 yards before you reach them, there are always several toilets out of order and the genre cleanliness is of a very low standard. I say this as a regular traveller on the M1.
