Ordered a take away from Gurkha.Ordered a lamb rogan Josh, special rice and Gurkha remix.All very nice. The lamb rogan Josh when delivered was chicken.But the flavour was lovely. Despite them getting the meat wrong, I would definitely still order from Gurkha again.

Nice place but looks old was really cold but they did bring a heater out could do with a renovation its actuly a Naples Indian restaurant they food was ok similar to Indian food with a little diffrence the starter was nice the curry was ok there was way to much cloves in the

Our first time at Gurkha Tandoori, but it won't be our last. The food was delicious, in fact we'd both say that our onion bhaji starter was the best we'd ever had - not overcooked and too crispy. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the waitresses were polite and attentive. We'll definitely be back !!

Gurkha was recommended by friends who had previously had takeaways and thoroughly enjoyed them. We booked a table for eight people on a Thursday evening and the entire experience was superb from beginning to end. Our waitress was very helpful, advising that we could amend any dishes on the menu to our individual taste. For any dishes that we were unfamiliar with, particularly the Nepalese food, she described the ingredients and how hot they might be - although this could be amended to suit personal preference. A lovely evening in a welcoming, warm and clean environment. We will be back very soon.

We visit Retford a lot as we have family there, and have never visited this establishment before. The surroundings are pleasant, and we received a very warm welcome even though we hadn't booked. The food is fabulous, reasonably priced and more than we could manage between us. We kept asking ourselves why have we never come here before. We had a half bottle of wine left over and the waiter kindly loaned us a bottle stop, which we shall be returning next time! We're real foodies, and if we say it's good - - - - It's not just good, IT'S REALLY GOOD!!
